8/11/1858 Jersey Independent and Daily Telegraph - Montevideo, Sept. 29.—The Wm. McDougal, from London to Buena Ventura, has put in here with loss of bulwarks, stanchions, etc., and has been surveyed; her topsides are very open, and part of her cargo must be landed for further survey, the vessel being down by the head; the exact quantity of water she is making cannot yet be ascertained.
