Rocket launch support vessel built for the Sea Launch consortium comprising Boeing and Russian interests. First rocket launch took place in March 1999.
Following the original Sea Launch bankruptcy in 2009 the company was taken over completely by Russian interests and launches were to resume in 2011. Whether this took place is not clear and in 2014 the ship is currently laid up at Long Beach.
