Disposal Detail |
26.1.1867; Left Liverpool with salt for the Brass River in Africa. Five days later, ran aground at Langness Point, Isle of Man. There was no loss of life. Although heavy weather may have contributed to the loss, witnesses at the inquiry told the court that the master was drinking and was not capable of issuing instructions during the voyage. His certificate was cancelled. |
