18/01/1849 The vessel was totally lost off the coast of Jutland. 30/01/1849 Morning Post reported – Thisted, Jan 15 – The “JANET GIBSON”, Norrie, from Kirkcaldy to Pillau or Konigsberg, was stranded near Klitmoller this morning, and has become a wreck; crew landed; cargo expected to be saved. |
