Remarks
The Aircraft Carrier Alliance was established to build HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH and her sister ship HMS PRINCE OF WALES and comprised BAE Systems Marine, Thales UK, Babcock Marine and the UK Ministry of Defence. The ships were assembled at Rosyth Dockyard from major blocks manufactured by BAE Systems Marine at Govan and further structural elements manufactured by Rosyth Dockyard, Appledore Shipbuilders, Cammell Laird, HM Naval Base Portsmouth and A&P Tyne.
